Air Force Concludes Spring Season with Alumni Weekend

The Air Force water polo team concluded its spring season with three wins and a heartbreaking loss to the Alumni. The Falcons defeated Denver Masters, 11-9, New Mexico, 13-8, and Denver Masters/Alumni, 16-10, before falling to the Alumni, 10-8.

Falcons Set to Host Rocky Mountain Tournament

The Air Force water polo team will host its spring tournament this weekend, May 3-4. The Rocky Mountain Tournament, which is being held in the Cadet Natatorium, will feature six teams. Air Force will play along with the Air Force "B" team, Air Force Alumni, Denver Masters, Colorado State and New Mexico. Admission to all 11 contests is free.

Chris Pace Named an NSCA All-American

Air Force senior water polo player Chris Pace was recently honored by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) with its annual All-American Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year award. The award recognizes student-athletes' dedication to strength training and conditioning.

Air Force Water Polo Announces 2007 Team Awards

Air Force water polo head coach Jeff Ehrlich is proud to announce the recipients of the 2007 team awards, as given out during the team's annual awards banquet last weekend. The Falcons celebrated a successful season which included a final 15-14 record, a third-place finish at the WWPA Championship and a final ranking of 14th in the nation. [+]

Condict Named Third-Team All-American

Senior water polo captain Clark Condict (Irvine, Calif.) was named a third-team All-America selection by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC), as released by the organization. Condict becomes the 15th water polo player in Air Force history to receive All-America recognition, and just the third to be recognized higher than honorable mention. [+]

This weekend, the Air Force water polo team hosts the annual Western Water Polo Association Championship, being held Nov. 16-18 at the Cadet Natatorium. Nine teams from the WWPA will compete for the chance to earn an automatic bid to this year's NCAA Championship. Admission for all games this weekend is free of charge. [+]
