WOODLAND, Calif. - Three members of the Air Force men's gymnastics team were named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation's All-Academic Team, the league commissioner announced this morning (April 22). Senior Brian Boardman, junior Jacob Schonig and sophomore Brennan Wolford were the Falcons' representatives on the all-academic squad.

Boardman, who is making his third straight appearance on the academic all-conference team, leads the Falcons with a 3.41 grade-point-average. Schonig earned his second MPSF all-academic team award with a 3.19 GPA. In his first year of eligibility for the academic distinction, Wolford rounded out the Air Force contingent with a 3.32 GPA.

To be considered for the academic all-conference team, student-athletes must hold a 3.0 or better grade-point-average and be at least a sophomore with one full academic year completed at the institution prior to the season that the award was received. In addition, the student-athlete must have competed in 50-percent or more of the institution's competitions.
