Dean Chuva Wins NCBA Championship Title

Junior Dean Chuva claimed his first-ever national title, as the Air Force boxing team wrapped up competition at the National Collegiate Boxing Association (NCBA) National Championships in Reno, Nev., on Saturday, April 12. With Chuva's split 3-2 decision over Navy's MIkoto Yoshida, Air Force has won three of the last four national titles in the 112-pound weight class.

The MountainWest Sports Network - The Mtn. - will air a two-hour original program featuring the 2008 Air Force Wing Open Boxing Championships held at Clune Arena on the campus of the United States Air Force Academy on March 2.
