Air Force Men Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Honors

The Air Force men's cross country team earned All-Academic Team honors, the U.S. Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association recently announced. It is the fifth time in Academy history that the Falcons have earned the All-Academic Team distinction. Air Force was one of 98 men's programs to receive the honor.

Kenny Grosselin Awarded NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship

Air Force senior cross country/distance runner Kenny Grosselin was named a recipient of the NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship, the NCAA announced. Grosselin, a captain for the cross country team during the fall season, becomes the seventh member of the cross country program to earn the prestigious award.

Falcons Place 13 on Academic All-MWC List

The Air Force cross country team placed 13 of its members on the Mountain West Conference all-academic team, the league office announced today (Feb. 7). The 10 members of the men's team and three members of the women's team were some of the 379 athletes named to the all-conference list. Kelly Robinson earns her fourth academic all-conference honor.

Matt Williams Concludes Run at NCAA Championships

Air Force junior Matt Williams clocked a time of 31:25.0 to finish near the top half of the field at the 2007 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships on Monday, Nov. 19. Competing at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, Ind., Williams finished 136th in his first-ever national appearance. [+]

Williams Prepares for NCAA Championships

Air Force junior Matt Williams will head to Terre Haute, Ind., for the 2007 NCAA Cross Country Championships on Monday, Nov. 20. The 10,000-meter race will be contested at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course at the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center. Matt Williams Earns Invitation to NCAA Championships

Air Force junior Matt Williams earned an automatic bid to the 2007 NCAA Cross Country Championships, the Division I coaches' committee announced this evening (Nov. 11). Williams will be the first Air Force runner to compete at the national meet since 2004. The national meet will be held on Monday, Nov. 19, in Terre Haute, Ind. [+]

The Air Force cross country team travels to Riverdale, Utah, for the 2007 NCAA Mountain Regional Championships on Saturday, Nov. 10. The meet, which is being hosted by Weber State University, will be run at the Riverdale Golf Course. Action is slated to begin at 11 a.m. (MST) with the men's 10,000-meter race.
