Peter French in Fifth Place after Rounds 1-4 of Men's Epee Competition

COLUMBUS, Ohio - At the NCAA Fencing Championships, AFA's Peter French is in fifth place following rounds 1-4 of the men's epee competition. French went 9-5 for the day, while teammate Dan Trapani finished in 15th place with only six victories and seven losses.

The NCAA National Championships enter their final act tomorrow at 9:30 a.m., when the men's competition wraps up with rounds 5-7, at which time the team national champion will be decided. Following the conclusion of round play, the Top 4 from each weapon will compete in the medal round, with gold medal bouts scheduled for 2 p.m. tomorrow in St. John Arena.
